Megan's fitness journey began in high school, when she was overweight and inactive. For her 16th birthday, Megan’s mom gave her a gym membership. As she began working out and making lifestyle changes, the extra weight dropped as her commitment to health and wellness continued to grow. Wanting to share this eagerness with others, Megan applied to teach group fitness classes at the local gym. She was turned down. This didn’t stop her.
She went on to achieve two Bachelor’s Degrees from Illinois State University, in Program Management and Commercial Recreation, along with an Exercise Science minor. Since then, Megan has competed in two NPC Bikini competitions, was featured in the Rising Stars column of Oxygen magazine and has turned her pastime into her passion. Megan has contributed to publications such as Train for Her, Train, Amazing Wellness, Muscle & Performance, and Proactive Health Magazine. Megan is a lifelong vegetarian, an ISSA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
Megan’s mission is to provide programs that are attainable and sustainable, emphasizing moderation and small changes that lead to lifelong results.
