Cozy up to this fall inspired bowl of morning oats!
1/3 cup quick cooking steel cut oats (any type of oats would work for this)
2/3 cup water (plus more if needed while oats are cooking)
1 tsp chia seeds
1 medjool date, pitted and chopped
pumpkin spice and/or cinnamon, to taste
Add oats and water to a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for about 7-10 minutes (cooking times will vary depending on which type of oats you use).
Stir in chia seeds and chopped dates.
Once oats are cooked, pour into a bowl and add below toppings...
1 tsp hemp seeds
1-2 tsp pumpkin seeds
1-2 tsp cacao nibs
1-2 Tbs unsweetened coconut flakes
1 heaping spoonful (or two!) of Pumpkin Spice Cashew Butter
more pumpkin spice + a splash of your favorite nondairy milk
